Good times!
Just posting some pics from the birthday picnic that my newfound friends here hosted for me and Bernadeth, another August celebrator. I almost didn’t show up since we were moving into a new apartment that weekend and so I had my hands full of putting things back in order. However, the girls successfully put me on a guilt-trip, summarily rejecting my apologies/excuses. I decided to go at the last minute and I’m glad that I did. We had so much fun! It’s always good to spend some time with kababayans, engage in seemingly endless conversations that run from the serious to the mundane, and share a good laugh. So this post is dedicated to them for taking the time to organize a party and driving all the way to Alexandria from Maryland to give me a proper birthday celebration. Thank you, ladies! I love the presents and, from the bottom of my heart, I truly appreciate everything you’ve done for me that day. Cheers!
