What a Saturday! Re'Sean's championship game surpassed our expectations! I don't think any of the parents had any inkling they were in for a nailbiting experience as the teams duked it out to the finish. Re'Sean played excellent defense and scored right whe the team needed it to gain the lead. The teams tied the game at the last quarter at 25-25, and went into three-minute overtime. From there, it was a close battle for the lead. In the end, Re'Sean's team lost by one point in the remaining seconds of the game. We couldn't have been more proud of the kids' drive to win the championship. They definitely made the other team work for every point on that scoreboard. That's what a championship game is all about!
